2009 Gramma Awards

I've never kept track of this. But I'm sort of curious as to who has won Hard Rock and Metal Gramma Awards in the past. I'm not curious enough to look it up though, 'cause I expect it's a whole long list of BS etc. Does anyone know?

Mostly crap, but Judas Priest, Motley Crue, David Gilmour, Zappa, AC/DC and Metallica are good at least.

My Gramma deserves an award. She makes a helluva apple pie.

Makes me damn proud to own that Wolfmother Cd, let me tell you. And I guess I'd better get off my butt and buy St. Anger as well.

Only thing I was interested in was Paul McCartney and Dave Grohl performing

That's the Grammy people trying to make up for overlooking Led Zeppelin all those years. Same deal when they gave Clapton a Grammy for that crappy acoustic version of "Layla". Where was that recognition back in the 70's when he was relevant and good? Oh that's right, the Grammys were honoring Captain & Tennille. Record of the Year for 1976? "Love Will Keep Us Together". Song of the year? "Send In The Clowns" by Judy Collins.

Grammys? Bah!

PS I know Layla was released in 1970, not '76. You get my point. The Grammy's can still suck it.
