Anybody see the show - about 500 people in audience - Alice Cooper presented Joan Jett an award - she rocked 3 songs She still hunches over with that low slung guitar thing - smile/sneer - Billy Gibbons walked out on stage during her set - Ace Frehley and Zach Wylde presented best guitar player award for 2014 - Ace, incredibly enough, might have been tipsy - ya ya ya he's sober 5 years - Even Zach shot him a look - it was the Dimebag Darrel guitar player award - Tony Iomi won best CD of the year - he is well spoken and still looking great - Richie Sambori and Dee Snider were mc's too - Nicholous Cage intorduced Axl Rose - and he perfomed 'Jungle' 'Paradise City' - etc Axl's voice is shot - and looked heavy and slow and grey - It was a fun watch - the veterans of steel !

Ace seemed sober to me. He sounds like Ace.

I tried to watch a little bit of it. The whole production seemed so cheap and cheesy for such a made-up award show.

What Lurideth said. I lasted about 5 minutes until they gave Queens of the Stone Age guy best metal vocals. I don't mind the dude, but, c'mon....
And, Eddie Trunk is still a douche, imo.

I only watched the Ace bits on YouTube. Don't really care about most of the stuff they give awards to.

I caught some of the live stream when it was originally taped. GNR were embarrassingly bad.
