73- A Foot In Coldwater- "2nd Foot"
74- Styx- "The Serpent Is Rising"
75- Angel- S/t
76- Kansas- "Masque"
77- Legs Diamond-S/t
78- Prism- "See Forever Eyes"
79- Morningstar- "Venus"
80- (tie) Touch- S/t
Shooting Star- S/t
81- New England- "Walking Wild"
82- Grand Prix- "There For None To See"
83- Magnum- "Eleventh Hour"
84- Airrace- "Shaft of Light"
85- Tobruk- "Wild On The Run"
In some of these years like 76 or 80, the competition was brutal. Several other years were relatively weak.

Bloodrock's Passage was a great album but I think Whirlwind Tongues should have the spot in '74.
