I just got the box set today at best buy. It sounds good... the bass drum really stands out as do the vocals but the snare sounds a little like a drum machine and the guitar is pushed back in the mix...

Got t in the mail today and am most happy, it is good to revisit this music again. It just makes me so nostalgic, almost feels like this was when a new style of music was up and coming. I miss those times.

While I enjoy the thrash crossover of the 2nd disc and the tail end of the 1st, the punk they play is just not my thing. The first demo sounds like Montana Max from tiny toons fronting a punk band and IMO is just laughable. The second demo was a lot better since the vocalist sounded like he was finally past puberty but the music was just too bland and samey for the most part. I enjoyed many of the guitar solos but I doubt I'd listen to the first disc much (except for the last two songs which were awesome).
