You ever see'em do it live? I have. Nothin' like trying to keep going with the flow in a mosh pit for 12 minutes plus. Yee-ouch.

There are some other Type O songs that I'm sure must crack the ten minute mark (particularly on the BLOODY KISSES album) but I'm too lazy to go look for 'em now

Both 'Black No. 1' and 'Christian Woman' break the 10 minute mark, don't they? One of them does, at least. The title track probably does as well, now that I think about it. I never seem to tire of that album for some reason, despite the consistently long songs.

Sometimes. I like it when Iron Maiden or Iron Butterfly do them, as they throw in a lot of progressiveness and changes and stuff, but if it's just long for the sake of being long, it just gets really boring. It can be easy to overdo that kind of thing.

I like long songs when they are primarily improv based, or well-constructed suites.

Earth's Earth 2 only has three songs, but is over 70+minutes. I think Mercyful Fates' "Satan's Fall" might be over ten minutes.

I believe it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 13 minutes, but I don't have the CD handy to check right now.

I'm a 3:30 - 5:30 minute song guy. It's the rare really long song that I can truly enjoy. There are a few (Avantasia's Scarecrow comes to mind) where it's so good I'm surprised it's so long, but generally I like it to be good and then move on to the next one.

After 30+ years of listening to progressive rock and 15+ years of listening to jazz, I'm used to long songs. The average length for a jazz tune is about 8 minutes and I've got some that are over 70 minutes.

In my teenage years, I played classical violin for a few years (wish I hadn't given up), so ya, long songs/music is something I like quite a bit.
