| Listening to King Diamond's "Abigail II" I started wondering: Have someone ever released a sequel to a record that could actually match, or even surpass the first one? The only one I can think of is Helloween's "Keeper..." albums. Now, "Abigail II" is gret too, but it's nowhere near the first one. And donæt get me started on "Keeper.... 3", "Land Of The Free II" and "Operation: Mindcrime II". So what's your opinion of sequels in metal? _________________ | |

| The first one that springs to my mind is Queensryhe - Mindcrime II, but I'm not putting that into a "favorite" category. It's ok, but overall I think it was unnecessary and a bland attempt at Queensryche to get back some of their old fans. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| I am not a big fan of 2nd part concept albums. Haven't liked any yet. The best was Operation Mindcrime, but Operation Mindcrime 2 was the worst!!! | |

| Helloween-The Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II which I like better than the first one, but most are sad attempts to go back to their glory days. | |

| Helloween-Keeper Of The Seven Keys II (I like it more than the first one) Shadow Gallery-Room V (I like it almost as much as Tyranny) Iced Earth-The Crucible Of Man (I am one of the few who liked both sequals to Something Wicked, but COM is much better than Framing Armageddon) | |

I think KMORG is going more for the concept album sequels, not so much just regular albums where the artists didn't care to give the albums a proper name. Ditto for Van Halen also. With that said, probably Ayreon - Universal Migrator Part 2: Flight of the Migrator

Absolutely! Also, first part of The Spider's Lullabye is actually (although indirectly) Them III.

Oooooo! Good one! I like it more than the first one (it helps that it was my first one).
