Oh, make no mistake about it, I plan on getting as many CDs as possible before they become obsolete. I want to have a collection big enough to fill a room (with the amount of music on my want list and as long as I make enough money, that won't be too hard).
One great thing about this new digital revolution (or whatever it's called) is that used CDs are becoming cheaper, and hard to find albums are showing up in used bins more often. I love it.

I'd agree with ya there. The little local shop I frequent has been getting more and more cd's. So much that it's almost getting difficult to navigate thru the store. He's starting to stack them on top on one another. An avalanche of cd's is forthcoming. The bad part, at least for me, is that I'm not finding anything great yet. Most of the cd's he gets in are fairly common titles that I already have. But I'm more than willing to look through to find those hidden gems.

I have had the opposite luck in regards finding used CD's, I used to buy them from Pawnshops at 2.00 a pop, than they even lowered the price to.50 to a 1.00 a CD, but since the profit margin is non existence they no longer are buying and reselling CD's, but I have seen more used CD titles at FYE, but like Metalguy no gems, common releases that are over priced anyway.

FYEs used priced are ridiculous, for the most part. My friend works at an FYE and told me they bought a Leatherwolf CD from someone for $4, then slapped a $39.99 price tag on it. Haha.
