I haven't liked any of the new generation (the last ten years) of bands until I came across The Sword from Austin, Texas. Their debut floors me. Definite Sabbath disciples which is rare with the youngsters nowadays. Most are too concerned about creating some weird hybrid and what they usually come up with is not only unrecognizable, but unlistenable. No one writes songs anymore. The wheel cannot be reinvented. Stick to the roots of metal, and you can never go wrong.

If I have to pick just one, my favorite metal band would have to be Megadeth. Dave is the Man!

Black Sabbath from Vol.4 to Sabotage. But that's so easy it's no fun. It's like asking what substance do I breath. So let me just say that I really like the French 80's band Sortilege's Metamorphose album. I really do! It's classic power metal done right.

Always true to their fans, never follow trends, pioneers of NWOBHM, love everything they have done, even the Blaze albums. Maiden have been my heroes since my early teens, and that is a looong time ago:)

Shoot... just one? Well, metal it's be... uh... er... crap. Too many I like. I'd say maybe Megadeth.... Or Metallica. If it encompassed all genres, I'd say Nickel Creek (I love my country).

Guns N Roses "Appetite for Destruction" was my introduction to "heavy" music, but if we're sticking to metal, I'd go with Megadeth.
