Oh brother! No wonder our kids are coming out of high school dumber than ever. It's the same thing with the "Spring Break" deal in April. What the hell is that? I never had a Spring Break until college. We had Good Friday off and the Monday after Easter Sunday off but that's it.

The school year also lasted until the 1st week of June. Around here, kids finish the year around the first week of May. And in between they get Spring Break, Columbus Day off? Why not Groundhog Day?

They should get Leif Ericson day off. Alot of kids today dont even know what Good Friday is sadly.

They still go the first week in June around here. When I was in senior year though, I believe our last day was in the first week of may, or the ass end of april.

Yeah, seniors usually end the year earlier.

Around here the seem to have a lot of teacher in service days too. At least once a month. I bet kids only spend about 75% as much time in school as I did.
