| a top Judas Priest album and one of their best along with Painkiller, Screaming 4 Vengence and Sad Wings of Destiny. Clearly the best metal cd that came out in 1997 | |

| I actually just got this for the first time a month ago and agree it is an amazing album. I heard bad things on Demolition but will get that one to some day.
Preferably used! | |

| I bought this when it came out. I had to drive 50 km to get to the record shop and when i played it i hated it. The only song i realy like of this album is CATHEDRAL SPIRES. Together with DEMOLITION, the worse JUDAS PRIEST albums in my opinion. | |

| I think that Cathedral Spires and Bullet Train are both fantastic Priest songs. I wish they would bring them both back into their live set with Halford singing them. These two songs are most definitely classic Priest. Overall, however, I think that Jugulator is one of the weaker Priest albums. Not bad, but not on the level of Stained Class, Hell Bent for Leather, Sin after Sin, etc. Still, a weaker Priest album is still better than many other bands IMO. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

agreed Jugulator was ok, but not even close to classic Priest. definitely not the best of 97 either. _________________

| It is a very good album, it's not Halford but that doesn't make it any less a Priest album in my opinion. I compare it to Crue when Vince left It was different but still good. Don't get me wrong there is no better person than Halford for Priest but when he was gone Ripper did a killer job filling in. I like it. | |

| I love the album. Not as good as earlier priest, but still an excellent album to listen to. This album is definitely in my top 5 Priest albums . | |

| It is not a bad Judas Priest album, and I thought it was amazing they found a singer who could sing in that range, but Jugulator is not one of my favorites by the Priest. It isn't terrible and better than Ram it Down but not on par with their classics. | |

| Of the two Owens studio albums, I prefer JUGULATOR by a long shot. DEMOLITION was terrible. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I don't mind either album but Jugulator was the better of the two and since I really like Tim's voice I didn't mind him filling in. |

At the time of this release, I was only familiar with Priest's hits and it was one of my favs. I like every single song on it and like Ult said, Bullet Train and Cathedral Spires are very solid songs. However, now that my Priest catalog has grown fairly well (I'm only missing 5 studio albums), I must agree that it doesn't even come close classic priest. Also not the best of '97 IMO, but at least one of them.

| Its a good album, but not Priest's best by any means. Good for their foray into a different sound, and I agree with Ult on those two songs being added back into the live set. | |
