Kipelov is the solo band of former Aria vocalist Valeri Kipelov. He was the singer of Aria (the Russian power metal band) from their debut album, Megalomania (1985) up to Chimera (2001).

Most of these bands don't sing in English, so I didn't expect many would know them, but hopefully someone will know something about them.

Well, a bunch of obscure, mostly new heavy metal bands! Falanx and
Obstruction are from Hungary, so I have no idea what do they sing at
all Smile . One of ex Falanx members now plays in Ossian, the legendary
band from Hungary. However, Hungarian or other east-European metal is
actually unknown here in Slovenia.

Lord Vader is an obscure Polish band ... M-A has more info about them:

The Polish heavy metal band Lord Vader was formed in 1980 under the
original monicker Fatum. In 1984 they changed their name to Lord Vader
and in 1985 they released a 7" single. They probably split up around
1987. In 2002 the German label Karthago Records released a full-length
album containing old material from the band.

Lord Vader re-activated around 2000 and began working on new material. Their entire collection from the past is unknown.

Rata Blanca is a band from Argentina that I'm familiar with because I
live in a village called "Blanca" Smile I don't know how big are they
there, but they've been around for about 20 years.

Kipelov is, as Required mentioned, ex-Aria singer. Old Aria material is
essential for each heavy metal freak! Most of it was recently released
(bootleged) on CDs so it's widely available.

And I have never heard for Embodiment Smile

Where did you get those?

Lord Vader - Goliath I have this one on vinyl. Band from Poland. Not very good in my opinion. I prefer other bands more like KAT, TURBO, DRAGON, WILCZY PAJAK(later WOLF SPIDER), HAMMER etc....
Rata Blanca - Entre el Cielo y El Infierno biggest south american hard rock/metal band singing in Spanish ever. They are big RAINBOW fans. Their old albums are just great.
Falanx - Életre Ítélve hungarian heavy metal that i saw live a couple of times(my wife is from Hungary)
Obstruction -
Új Vér
again a hungarian band, better then FALANX in my opinion but if you want to listen to the best try out POKOLGEP, OSSIAN or OMEN(HUN).

I know the website Sentinel Steel sells Aria's albums. They are originally on Moroz Records. As far as I can tell, these albums aren't bootlegs (they have barcodes), although you may be referring to another label bootlegging them.

yeah....the degree of obscureness is very very objective. how can a band like rata blanca(white mouse) be obscure from the moment that they usually play in crowds from 10000 to 30000. also 2 tribute cds where made for them and countless bootlegs(with covers etc)....giardino is great player....
