Acid King rips. They played southwest terror fest this last year. Favorite album is probably "III".

I had their album Busse Woods at one point, and although I dig a good stoner band, I found the album to be too slow and plodding. I like stoner bands that mix up the tempo a little here and there.

I don't mind if it's overly repetitious as long as there's some melody or good riffs or something.

I dig Acid King because they are bluesy enough but also really dirty and sludgy at times. Lori S vocals are hypnotic and f*cking cool, especially on III and busse woods.
