| Just found out about this Norweigan thrashing quartet! You guys might want to give a listen, as it's equal parts oldschool German thrash, slight modern touches, and some melodic thrash mixed in. Here's their myspace page with 3 songs from their debut album, "Thrash Metal" (subtle title, huh?): http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=30610859 Good stuff! Though, their lyrics might turn some off. They seem to be a bit 'dark'. _________________ You're cancer, you can't be the answer, you're killing me

| The band members dont look like thrash maniacs (but i can see some cool t-shirts) and the music sound like DESTRUCTION but from their last 4 albums, not the classic primative and underground sound of old DESTRUCTION. Not bad, but not my fave stuff. I prefere TOXIC HOLOCAUST, DEATH BEAST, STRIKE MASTER, BLASHTHRASH, VIOLATOR, FATAL EMBRACE, WITCHTRAP, HAMMERWHORE etc...much more because they have the real 80s spirit in music and actitud. | |

Well, it is 2007, not 1984. I dont think that have anything to do with time. Even if the thrash metal looks started back in the days, its timeless, same with the music. You can still look like a thrash metal maniac in 2020. Its not time bounded. I still look like in the 80s but not because i believe we are in the 80s but just because its timeless, no fashion but a way of life. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| Excellent stuff! The comparison to Destruction and Sodom matches well. The CD Thrash Metal will be available in Germany 13. April. | |

| I got a promo of the THRASH METAL album about a week ago. Musically they're quite excellent (and as other posts have mentioned, very much in the old school Sodom/Destruction/Kreator vein) but the vocals are a little grating on me. I haven't been able to make it all the way thru the CD in one sitting yet cuz after a few songs the vox annoy the hell outta me. In small doses, though, it does some damage!! | |

| Listened to this today. Definitely have some modern influences. A bit different than Hyades, Merciless Death, and Meltdown. Those bands recall Dark Angel, early Metallica, Exodus, etc. Blood Tsunami are a bit more abrassive and noisy. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Yah, they have some modern elements (no groove though!) mixed with an early Kreator / Destruction sound. _________________ You're cancer, you can't be the answer, you're killing me

| Gotta admit, when I opened up the CD and saw the band photos I was a bit worried that it would be some modern thrash/metalcore hybrid. That's what the band looks like. However, looks are not important so of course I gave the CD a spin. Sounded good on the first listen. I need to give it a spin in the car where it can get some undivided attention.

| Just got this and first listen = pretty good! Very brutal and chaotic.
The singer reminds me of Angela Gossow. Call me crazy but listen to Thrash Metal and Rise Of The Tyrant back to back.
Either way it's good! | |
