God where do I start? These are going to be all obvious choices but here we go:
Black Sabbath-s/t- this were it all began
Led Zeppelin-s/t the most influential rock band of all time
Van Halen- s/t that is also a given
Kiss-s/t- just really raw unpolished
The Doors-s/t I know it is not metal but in my opinion one of the greatest debut albums of all time and has influenced many metal bands and finally
Ted Nugent-s/t just a great cd and contains overlooked classic " Snakeskin Cowboys"
Nirvana-Bleach, alot of old school metal fans hated them but I loved them and think Cobain was a great song writer

That Circus of Power was a great album, I still play it all the time.
Queensryche's EP was one I never even thought of, I love that release.
Fastway had a pretty good one.
Waysted was pretty good.
I just remembered, Texas Flood by SRV (though it isn't metal)

The guitar player for that LP,Ronnie Kayfield, was in town two summers ago playing in Get The Led Out,the Zep tribute band. I freaked out, went home and grabbed my Vices tour jersey.

Eh, what can I say? I'm a fan. Way back in 1987, this was the album that got me into heavy metal. If it weren't for that, I'd still be listening to Bryan Adams, Debbie Gibson and DeBarge.
