Motorhead-Hammered

What's your take on this album? I think it's a really great disk, Lemmy's lyrics are so to the point and relevant. Hammered is my 2nd fave Motorhead with Kiss Of Death being my fave.

Great guitar sound.

Probably the last Motorhead album with any "classic" tunes on it. I prefer Sacrifice and We Are Motorhead...but it's a good solid album (although the production is a little too polished for my taste).

Inferno and Kiss of Death were both MAJOR dissapointments in my book. But then again my favorite Motorhead album is Another Perfect Day...so what do I know?

One of the forgotten albums, definitely. I love this album. It's very solid. Campbell, IMO, is the star of this album. His riffs are very dynamic on this album. Is it just me or does the intro riff to Mine All Mine sound like KISS' I Was Made For Loving You? Well, it reminds me of it. Of course, this album also has Red Raw, one of the most brutal songs the band has ever done.

They really need to include some of these songs in their set lists.

This one is thrasher's favorite. He told me.

Also, its my favorite since RNR.

Good album. "Walk A Crooked Line" is one of my favorite Motorhead songs.

This is easily my favourtite post-Eddie Clarke Motorhead album. The songs are as fast n' heavy as you'd expect, but they all have a fantastic groove about them. The album barely ever gets a mention anywhere, which is a real shame because it's really, really good.

A forgotten/ignored classic, in my opinion.
