I don't know about that now. Most of the bands that were big enough to be on MTV in the 80s we're headling arenas, civic centers, and theaters. If not they were opening for those bands. |

| what about the striped, checker board, or polka dot spandex and at least on member woulld do a piece of hair from behind the ear in a diferent color. example Vinnie Vincent-pink or Marc Ferrari-blonde. Then you have the reverse headstock on your faux animal skin guitar. And the biggest cliche' of all....flashy perfomers but couldn't write a song if their life depended on it. | |

This is the most cheestastical lyric ever from our boys in KISS
"I wanna put my log in your fireplace"
so subtle and smooth.....it boggles the mind. _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

Wasn't there a fundamentalist Christian comic book strip where a rock band had those lyrics?

| How about slinging/ spinning the guitar around over the shoulder? Song titles that have the word "kiss" or "heart" in them. Girls/ women in the videos transformed into hotties by the bands music. This usually occurs about the time they shed their outer clothing for more revealing clothing hidden underneath. That's all for now. Peace. | |

I know there's more....... White Tiger I could have sworn there was a band called White Wolf as well (and I swear I'm not making that up). Don't know if they were 'hair metal' or not though. EDIT: Yep, there is. Sweet, they're Canadian too http://www.canadianbands.com/White%20Wolf.html Still don't know if they were hair metal, but since they apparently played with Lee Aaron and Kick Axe, they were probably close.
