Another one is their always back after getting dumped. Whether its back on the streets or back for the attack, or back to annoying the hell out of you with another ballad. Or Im going to get you back.

Actually, just a song about a train is a huge cliche.

How about the music video cliche where the drummer twirls one drum stick between his fingers, while pointing at the camera with the other one, all while making the most "metal" facial expression he can muster.

There were a whole lot of video cliches... Windmills, walking around among burned out buildings, cheesecake.

...the oversized stages they perform on in videos.

Most of those dummies never saw the outside of a club when they played live.
