One "Maiden" Poll

Choose your favourite Iron Maiden tunes out of these.

Caught Somewhere in Time. One of my very favorite Maiden tunes.

Interesting, but very awesome, list! I went with Aces High. Yeah, I know it's a bit of an obvious one to go with, but it's just so awesome.

However, there are many honourable mentions on there. Wildest Dreams and Brighter Than A Thousand Suns are two of my favourite late-era songs. The riff in the latter is so heavy. Moonchild is very fast and has wicked awesome guitar melodies in the chorus. Afraid To Shoot Strangers is probably the best song off FOTD (although I really like Chains Of Misery; it has that awesome retro early-90s metal sound to it that I love so much). I was just talking to a buddy of mine at the gym yesterdat and we were talking about Dance of Death and he said the title track is one of his favorite songs. I actually listened to that album yesterday for the first time in months and I forgot how great it is. It's probably my favourite post-SSOASS album.

I love to see the obscure material get recognition as well!

Moonchild for me off this list, but none of these are my faves.

Killers, but most of those are good. Caught Somewhere In Time is one of the few from that SIT/7th Son era that I really like.

its between where eagles dare and caught somewhere in time as i like both of those but where eagles dare gets my vote

I voted Aces High, but my all time fav from Maiden is Futureal

Many of those songs are Maiden songs I LOVE to sing along with. Among them my favorite of those is Revelation (I agree that the lyrics are awesome). Honorable mentions are Affraid To Shoot Strangers, Caught Somewhere In Time, Sign Of The Cross, and Aces High.

Very interesting thoughts! Since I like them all, I voted for all songs, but if I were to pick just one, it would have been Revelations over Moonchild and Where Eagles Dare.

For some reason I overlooked Moonchild, if I could I'd change my vote to that one. Of all the sing-a-long Maiden songs in my repertoire, that is my favorite to sing.
