Sorry Shiney, I meant to highlight the Hittman s/t album. I actually have my favorite song from that one, Behind the Lines" downloaded to my desktop cuz I can't even finad an album or cassette. I don't have a whole lot of rare titles and I'm not really sure what would be rare or not in my relatively small collection (500+ and counting) but here's a few:

Ratt EP
Spread Eagle s/t
Tora Tora s/t
Arch Rival "Third Degree Burns"
Mother Love Bone "Apple"
Whitesnake "Snakebite", "Love Hunter"
Y and T "In Rock We Trust"

I guess that's it. I figure these are cd's you don't see in the used bin every day. Bye the way, this is a great thread!!!

Yeah, I wasn't sure about Stateu, 'cause I haven't seen it yet anywhere for sale, but a friend of mine who owns it said that it's one of the rarest he has (and he has the whole Overdrive catalog, INCs, LWS Inc, Detente on pricekillers etc.)

One question: which of Sabbat first pressings is harder to find, History or Dreamweaver?

Megadeth- Killing is my business 1st press with these boots
Megadeth- Cryptic Writing 1st press with silver cover (think this is rare, or at least I never see it anywhere)
Danzig- selections from Danzig 6 promo with alt versions of songs of Satan's child
Danzig- III How the gods Kill 1st press Euro version with silkscreened cloth slipcase
Faith No More- Album of the year AUS tour version with 5 bonus tracks
Faith No More King for a Day fool for a lifetime Aus version with 2nd disc
Samhain- Initium/Unholy Passion on one disc
Misfits-12 Hits from Hell retail version (recalled due to disapproval by former members the day it came out)
Dead Milkmen- Soul Rotation (not real valuable but not hard to find as it was on Disney's Hollywood records and received no promotion and was quickly taken out of print)
Dead Milkmen- Not Richard, but Dick (same as the one above)

Dreamweaver is the harder of the two to find.

Unless of course you have a friend selling it for $5, and you beat UncleSaxon to it!lol!

I've seen Statue on eBay twice (both times about 2 years ago now), and it sold for right around $60 the first time, and I think it finished at $80 on the second go 'round.

The Accused - Return of Martha Splatterhead (On the Combat label) is one of the rarest thrash discs I've ever seen. Last time I saw one on eBay it sold for over $200. Also, anything on the New Renaissance label (first pressings, of course.)

I don't have that many rare CDs. Just don't have the time, patience or money to collect them, at least not anymore (woohoo for mp3s.)

Anyway, here's some

Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence (Enigma)
Heathen - Breaking the Silence (Combat -- first pressing)
Blind Illusion -The Sane Asylum (Combat)
Raven - Nothing Exceeds Like Excess (Combat)
Killjoy - Compelled by Fear (Restless/Colossal)
Vio-lence - Eternal Nightmare (Mechanic)
Toxik - Think This (Roadracer -- first pressing)
Paradox - Heresy (Roadracer -- first pressing)

That Paradox CD is rare? I have that too. Nor "Product Of Imagination" on the other hand, that is one of my high priority list entries.

Kmorg: The original German version went for $31 on ebay at pricekillers001 auction, and I also saw for about the same on metal markets ... I got the Japanese pressing from pricekillers as well and also for the exactly same amount of money. Smile

Sideshow: I thought so, although it seems a bit weird that a newer album on the same label is harder to find Smile

A friend just scored this one from ebay for $15, his 10th different copy of Dreamweaver or so,

Rarest CDs you own? - Page 3 F362_1

apparently there is a small white spot on the back inlay so it's different than the regular version http://www.geocities.com/absolute_banger/sabbat_dreamweaver.htm

I got History of a Time to Come for 15 EUR ($20), so I think it was a good deal too!

SPREAD EAGLE-s/t
TORA TORA-Surprise Attack
VENGEANCE-Human Sacrifice(Before the rising was added)
