What in your opinion is the greatest hair/glam band?

Define hair metal for me...different people seem to have a different idea of what "hair metal" is.

Yea, that's a pretty broad umbrella. Greatest in terms of talent or greatest in popularity or records sold. And depending on who you ask, especially 'round these parts, hair or glam bands are not as easily defined as you might think.

As for me, I've always been a fan of Cinderella and loved everything they've done. Seen 'em multiple times live and they've always sounded great. They're also from my hometown, so I'd always root for local boys making it big. But are they "The Greatest Hair/Glam band"? Ehh, it's all a matter of opinion.

I echo MG71's vote for Cinderella.

Kix would be my second fave.

Cinderella, Pioson, Crue, ect.
i generalize these bans alot
i would put Skid Row and Queensryche in the same catagory
wheather that is right or not

Ok, so glam, sleaze, pop metal stuff. Got it.

I'd go with STRYPER as my favorite. Love everything they did.

While I don't consider them to be "hair metal", TWISTED SISTER would tie with Stryper for a favorite from that era.

I dont like the term hair metal i prefere to call it glam metal. Anyway, some of my fave bands are:

Truth be known I have liked just about any band called "hair metal" that I've heard. I liked it long before I even knew what some of the band's members looked like.

Love all the bands everyone has listed. My favorites would be Kix (cool to see all the love here for those guys) and Killers Dwarfs.

I refuse to acknowledge the term hair metal. Call it 80s rock or just hard rock. So pooh-pooh on this thread! =)
