I absolutely love these guys! I think they are very underrated and hope they are around for a long time yet to come. No one out there like them, and the last 2 albums have been epic and couldnt get more perfect!

I tried to get into them a few years ago, but they never did anything for me. I found them quite boring.

Great band man, I really like the last 2 albums the best. Steele's humor especially on Angry Inch makes me laugh every time.

Thread title is kind of ironic.

I saw them live with the Misfits in '98, I believe. Terrible band on CD and in person.

This is definitely a band conspicuous by their absence. I'm really sorry they aren't still out there doing their thing.
Between the musical style and the sense of humor in most of it, it was a unique brew to be sure.

This band sounds very much like them. In fact, they were before them !

I owned October Rust at one point, but I didn't listen to it very much at all and unloaded it. Occasionally I'll hear them on sattellite radio and they sound pretty cool, but I don't know that I'd pick up anything by them anymore.
So 12 years ( ) have passed since this last post. Sometime over the winter, I found a copy of October Rust at the local thrift store. For a buck, I figured I'd give these guys another chance. Nope. I couldn't even make it thru the whole cd. After 7 songs or so, I'd had enough. I don't mind some slow doom, but these guys are just too plodding and dull for me. Pass.

I have the Roadrunner Type O (best of) and it’s basically all I need. I might pick up one of the later albums if I found it cheap.

I've got Bloody Kisses, October Rust and Dead Again, but honestly they're not getting much play from me. Dead Again is probably my favourite of the bunch, with October Rust my least favourite.
I also listened to World Coming Down back when it was released, and saw them on the tour. I felt like that kind of music doesn't translate too well to a live setting, especially since it was a festival. Though they played mostly fast songs that time.
