| I hate the term "hair metal" but I guess that's what most all it. I have 4 that I still enjoy to this day.

| I love Cinderella. Always lumped in with the hair bands; unfairly IMO. I don't know of any other hair band that used jaw harp, dobro, female gospel vox, etc. etc.

| A guy I went to high school with LOVED Cinderella. He labled them "Blues Metal." THis was after Long Cold Winter came out of course. | |

| Yeah, I love Crue too.
Ya know, a lot of people point to the 80s as a "dry period" for metal but I beg to differ. If you consider hair bands to be "metal", the 80s were a feast!

| Guns 'n' Roses and Motley Crue are about the only bands that I can still listen to full albums by these days. I used to be very much into "hair metal" when I was a young teen (13-14). However, for the most part now I find that I can't tell the difference between most bands and it gets bland quickly for me although I still do enjoy the odd song here and there by most of the more well known bands that fit this bill. | |
