I will post mine later, when I have the time because it will take quite a while to so so. I am power metal crazy; keyboards, no keyboards, classic, speed, modern, NWOBHM, the origionators, the copy cats, etc. the list goes on.

i don't really listen to much power metal these days. if i had to pick i'd say Gamma Ray & maybe Iced Earth (the first 3 albums only).

This is not directd at you in special, Androcles, but people need to learn the difference between heavy metal as in 3 of the 5 bands you mentioned!), and what we today call power metal.

Dio, Maiden, HammerFall, Priest are all just heavy metal....

And proud of it! It just pisses me off to no end that they took a perfectly legit sub genre (power metal was for bands heavier then metal, but not as fast as thrash), and put it on every band that has released a metal album after 1995!
