Yes, the 80s were great. Love the 70s, 90s and today too but the 80s gave as so much great music and its music that never get boring.

Loved the 80s mainly for my childhood (born in '79) but also for the music. Not just metal mind you, there is very little from the 80s I don't like (except crap like Culture Club, Devo, B52's, Thomson Twins, etc.). As for metal, I believe the 80s was the golden age. The 80s and early 90s is to metal as the 40s and 50s were to cartoons.

Hellion, King Kobra and Madam X all ascaped me during the 80's. I mean, I know about all those bands, I just never owned any of their albums. And that is the great thing about the 80's, there were sooooo mnay great bands around, I'm still catching some 20 years later!
