Anasarca - Death Row Death Metal

Have any of you death/black metal people heard this band? The music is pretty killer brutal death metal with a bit of black metal style in the riffs/melodies. I like it.

The lyrics are all written by present or former death row inmates.

i have an album called Godmachine, but i think they have a newer one out now. i have yet to snag it. it's pretty stripped down brutal stuff, which i love. some crazy riffing too. i'm onboard!

I read that they have another more recent CD called Dying, with lyrics written by people dying of terminal illnesses.

sounds like a cheap gimmick, but it could be interesting. hell, as long as the music is good i don't really care.

Could be a cheap gimmick, or just some guys that can play and write music but suck at writing lyrics. The ideas are interesting. It's like reality metal...or something.
