| Edge of Sanity, maybe. Not a huge death metal fan, at least the more traditional style. Big fan of melodic death metal, though. Either way, Edge of Sanity is great. |

| Hard to choose a favorate, maybe a toss up between Death, Morbid Angel, Mortification(when they did that) Deteriorate, Morfeus, and Bolt thrower.
I dont think that Death metal is really impacting like it was in the early 90's anymore. It is somewhat hard to find a straightforward traditional death metal band now, the majority of "death" metal being Melodic or having some other kind of influence. | |

| It was a whole lot better in the 90s. I think my favorite DM album is CANNIBAL CORPSE "The Bleeding". | |

| Early Mortification, Bolt Thrower have always been good and consistent, latter day Napalm Death, of course Death. I enjoyed then last Pantocrator album. I just have to be in the mood to enjoy it. Not really my cup of tea. | |

| Death and Suffocation rule. Morty's death albums are awesome and in that vein the new Grave Forsaken sounds pretty decent with a death/thrash mix. I really like the melo death sound of Dark Tranquillity and Arch Enemy. Others: Pantokrator Sacrificium Aletheian Soul Embraced-melodeth Living Sacrifice-Except the first one, it's a thrash classic. The Famine Common Yet Forbidden Tortured Conscience Dagon Feast Eternal Martyrs Shrine Becoming The Archetype-some core but really technical and good Sympathy-your ears will bleed |

| Death Metal is one of the few genres I have trouble fully embracing, but there is some that I enjoy. Most of what I listen to, death metal wise, only incorporates some death metal elements and I'm not sure if it qualifies or not, but here is some of what I listen to: At The Gates, Between the Buried and Me, Children of Bodom, Cynic, Death, In Flames, Necrophagist, Nile, Obituary, Opeth, and Possessed. | |

| Napalm Death is another big favorite of mine. As far as death metal now goes, I much prefer when it first came on the scene as opposed to alot of whats coming out now. | |
