Anyone ever heard of Hurricane Party or Roadstar? Basically Hurricane Party became Roadstar then broke up—amidst some drama with their managers, if I'm remembering correctly. Anyway, I've never heard Roadstar, but I do have the one EP they released as Hurricane Party and it's a great little EP.

Now the band has resurfaced as Heaven's Basement, and they sound awesome! A bit older, a bit heavier, but still killer!

Yeah i've heard Roadstar, good band. Classic Rock magazine hyped them major, i think they won their best new band or something like that last year. They were good.

But this new band has got me more excited, classic rock superstars of tomorrow perhaps. Wow they're sounding and looking great. This is awesome.

BTW, this music sounds great. They don't have a CD out yet though do they?

Not yet. Looks like they're recording something now, though. These songs sound great, though. I'm trying to score a promo sampler or something.

Good luck! I always thought they showed a lot of promise on that Hurricane Party disc. Glad to know these guys are still around in some form.

Great stuff. It inspired me to go home last night and party till dawn with the ghost of Ian Astbury's liver. I think a young Stephen Tyler's gall bladder showed up there at some point too, not sure though, it's hazy. Please stay on top of this and keep us posted. Looking forward to it.

So I brought in the Hurricane Party EP today; figured I'd upload a track.

HURRICANE PARTY - ROADSTAR

Like I said, I've not heard the stuff they did as Roadstar, but I'm sure you'll agree that Hurricane Party is pretty damn good. I got the EP through Second Spin for like $4.99, I think. It's been a while since I bought, but I know it was cheap, wherever I got it from.

Yeah, but not cheap. I've been looking for cheap copies for about a year now.
