I really like House Of The Rising sun and I would like to know some other songs from this band. Don't know if there's some fan here.

Darn, I thought this was gonna be about my favorite Pink Floyd album.

They did "We Gotta Get Out" of this place, but I've never heard the original all the way, just when BOC covered it.

Just found a Best Of... Gonna tell you tommorow if I like it.

Same here. This is the second time in as many days I was misled by the title of a thread. I was totally thinking Pink Floys and not Eric Burdon.

The Animals are a great early to late '60s English band. Some of their hits include "House of the Rising Sun", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", "See See Rider". Then the band became Eric Burdon and The Animals, who also had a few great songs like "Sky Pilot" and "San Franciscan Nights". The band also included for a short time, future Police guitarist Andy Summers. Just a little info

Don't own any albums, but I've liked everything I've heard from them.

The Animals also did the song It's My Life, that was later covered by Alcatrazz.

He made a couple of hard rock albums in the mid-70's ("Stop", "Sun Secrets") that are sorta ok. They feature many hard rock versions of Animals hits. The originals are better, but enthusiansts might like "The Eric Burdon Band".

I always wondered who sang "Sky Pilot". I didn't know about the Andy Summers angle. Cool.
