Is Nevermore on a U.S. Tour?

I'm goin to a local gig featuring one of my favorite local bands SANKTUARY
and it starts in a couple hours I better do some streches and prepare for the MOSH

I just attended Megadeth in Birmingham this evening. It was insane. By far the most energetic gig I've been to, and understandably - they f*cking rocked.

Back from Poland, I actually saw four bands of those:

FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, who were shooting a live DVD, so you'll all be able
to see how INCREDIBLE this show was - perfect set list (Hammerhead,
Doomsday for the Deceiver, No Place for Disgrace, Escape from Within
(!!!), Hard on You, I Live You Die, The Master Sleeps ... some others,
few from Cuatro ... + 1 cover song, which I didn't know, but Eric A.K.
(GREAT VOCALS!!) said something about old Arizona speed metal, so I
guess it was a cover of a ceratin 80s Arizona band ... it kicked ass )

ARTILLERY, who looked like hell, old, grey, short haired and bold,
plues the new singer looked like a total "new age" guy, but they were
surprisingly good! The new singer sounds more like Ripper hehe ... too
bad that they didn't have the best sound, in conclusion a very solid
show!

OVERKILL, certainly one of the best live bands and this gig was no
exception!! I can say that this particular show was the best one I have
ever seen in my life, and I've seen well over 100 "big bands"! Great
set list as well (Necroshine, Thanx for Nothing, Skull n' Bones, Rotten
to the Core, Wrecking Crew, Elimination, Bastard Nation, F*** You, Hello from the Gutter ... )

And at last, MEGADETH, another excellent show! I've seen them for third time now, and this one was the best in my opinion, I actually felt like I'm watching Megadeth in 1990 or so, Dave thrashed like a 25 year old hehe ... Set list was standard, few new songs (Sleepwalker, Washington's Next, Gears of War, Burnt Ice) + a bunch of old stuff, Peace Sells, Wake Up Dead, In My Darkest Hour, Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls, Symphony of Destruction, A Tout le Monde, Trust, ...

This year for me is bleak. No Maiden and no JOP/CIIC/Manticora for now (Kong did say the FIRST leg of the tour is in the fall so it may be the end of the year) and so far no other bands that I would include as my favorites are touring in the U.S. this year. I love America but damn, we get the short end of the stick when it comes to metal (albums and tours).

From Metal Edge I just found out that Symphony X is comming to Ft. Worth next month so I will probably go to that one.

Just bought the ticket and Sunday April 27, I will get to see Symphony X along with Epica and Into Eternity.

This is the next festival I`m going to.
It`s not far from my home, and it is the first weekend of my four weeks summer holiday. Perfect!!!!
