| CELTIC FROST- Cold Lake, Tom Warrior in spandex and teased hair, could've done without that one. KISS- I love them, but man have they done some smurf poo that has pissed me off. JUDAS PRIEST- Demolition is one of the worst albums I've ever heard. HELLOWEEN- I threw out my cassette of Chameleon. I actually didn't listen to any of their new albums after that up until 2001. | |

| Queensryche - Hear In The Now Fronteer KISS - Hot In The Shade (I even like Crazy Nights better than this one!) Def Leppard - Slang (don't even own it!) Dream Theater - Falling Into Infinity (can't remeber the last time I listened to it!) Iron Maiden - X, XI (I'm not a fan of Blaze's voice, the songwriting and production are lacking) | |

| Judas Priest/Jugulator I like well enough, but DEmolition not so much. Love Kiss too, but Hot In The Shade not so much haha. Still love both bands. I also had my doubts when Fear Factory started remixing their music, of course Metallica everthing since Live smurf poo and Megadeth playing songs like Breadline from Risk WTF!! Savatage was another band I Loved but went down hill for me as the years pasted, though I have enjoyed Olivia's solo stuff-TJ | |

IMO, 'FII' is a much better album than the overblown, pseudo-epic 'SFaM'... Really? I guess my problem with FII is the production of the drums and how lazy the whole albums sounds in my ears. I love the way SFaM is all connected together musically and the production and heaviness plus melodies are much better, IMO. - MetalRob331 wrote:

A lot of people felt this way, but despite the band's pink, poofy look I liked this album. It's a good, quality heavy metal platter, even if it isn't as dark as the band's other albums. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I liked a few songs from Cold Lake, I actually never bought it though I just have a cassette dub of it from years ago, but theres no way in hell I'm about to pay $50 for a CD copy of it. Cherry Orchards and that damn video were what initally turned me off of it. The only other thing that really upset me about it was they took all the classics like "Circle Of The Tyrants" and were playing them like that. That made me puke, along with the video. I mean hell, he already looked like he had down syndrome, that look just made it worse. | |

Anthrax - Stomp 442. I've tried to like it, I just can't. Johns vox sounded strained on that one. the music was great though. Took me a while, but I like this one now. "Random Acts of Senseless Violence" and "Fueled" are freakin' HEAVY! I like Sound of White Noise and Vol. 8 a bit better. I think I might have to give this disk a few more spins.

| Lessee here.... Aerosmith: Outside of the first three tracks, Just Push Play was a waste. The Clash: Cut The Crap. Indeed. Deep Purple: Live...album...overkill!!! Aughhhhh!! Genesis: Got too danged poppy in the eighties. There were a few songs from that era that I liked, but the majority is so-so, bland garbage. Guns N' Roses: Y'know, Axl, it'd be really nice if you were to stop being such a wasteful, compulsive perfectionist who goes through bandmembers like the rest of us go through batteries and release Chinese Democracy already. I mean, really. Green Day: Sold out. Journey: Because everyone knows going through a singer a year and hiring a guy that you discovered on YouTube has all the redeeming factors of eating lit matches. KISS: I don't like the glam metal/makeup-less 80s era, with the exception of a few numbers. And I only like KISS with the original four. Led Zeppelin: Just one put-it-to-rest reunion tour. Please. Lynyrd Skynyrd: Reuniting after the '77 plane crash. Metallica: Two words: St. Anger. (except for the first three songs) Motley Crue: All of the post-Feelgood material, all three albums, several singles, and 38 greatest-hits albums of it. Queen: Not too crazy about the pop-oriented 80s works. Rage Against The Machine: Their hyperbolic, hypocritical, illogical neo-Marxist politics. The Rolling Stones: Post-Tattoo You records. Styx: And these guys are still around why??????? Van Halen: Getting rid of DLR. And not having a single live album of those years. The Who: Going on even with half the freakin' band dead. I think that may be it. |

| I kind of get a little annoyed when people say, "Of course, Metallica" like it is some standard...it's like people just have to hate it. Ahh, well I believe people on this board (if you want a good laugh, go and check all the stupid posts by the YouTube teens...it's so stupid, it's funny). | |

| Deliverance - last 2 were not very good... Extol - the Blueprint dives - how the mighty have fallen.. Firewind - anything pre-Allegiance. Allegiance kicks their previous material all over the place... Freedom Call - The Circle of Life - what metal band would name an album after an elton john song that was heavier than the album?? Living Sacrifice - anything after s/t... Textbook 101 on how to ruin a thrash band. Rhapsody - Triumph or Agony.. it was the latter listening to this release.. Alex _________________ | |

It sounds as if Allegiance was the first disc u heard from these guys? Allegiance is a killer cd but compared to the others its more of commercial release to me. Gus G. hasnt wrote a bad song yet but pre Allegiance cds are better imo. (though i c where u r coming from)

| i actually had their first 2 cds when they came out. I didnt like the singer at all and thought the music was too centered around the guitar virtuoso stuff.. Allegiance for me was more focused on good catchy songs and the vocals were a lot better.. Alex _________________ | |

Alex i agree the singer is good but i think Chitral Somapala on Forged by Fire had an amazing voice and the music was more traditional metal and less keybaords like the new rcord has.. I love them all though all masterpieces

| Metallica-Load and every thing afterwards Queensryche-after Promised Land I would say Megadeth, Helloween, and Priest (after Jugulator, before Angel) but I never heard the music on their much trashed albums so I can't say. It takes a lot for me to get disgusted with a band enough to abandon them. That is why alubms like X Factor, Falling Into Infinity, and Crawl To China (in comparison to their older material) never turned me off. Only the two I mentioned caused me to abandon them completly. | |

| Therion - Of Darkness
I know Therion started out as a Death Metal band but upon the first few listens i couldnt believe this was even the same band. The cds that follow this are some of the finest that i've heard.
