But I've also recently started doing a "Roots of Christian Doom" series that features secular bands almost exclusively.

Why do you ask?

Looking for exposure for local band Devil Riding Shotgun, but they are not a Christian band at all.

Is there any Christian or biblical subject matter in any of their songs?

Or, maybe if you lean on one of the members REAL HARD (preferably the lyricist), you can make them fit the "believer in a secular band" niche!



Other than that, get them hooked up with Hellride Music and doom-metal.com for probably the best exposure for this genre on the 'net, IMO.

Sure, no problem. Some of the members at those forums tend to see me as some kinda religious zealot because of the CDA though, so I hope that doesn't work against them at all.

I really do need to learn how to curb that bible-thumping, pharisitic spirit I have...
