Hey everyone. Ken Tamplin has authorized the posting of full mp3 files of his Shout and solo CD releases. He just asks for a donation to one of the following charities if you download them:

http://wellsforlife.org/
http://www.doctorswithoutborders.com/
http://www.standwithus.com/
http://www.nrlc.org/

I have recently put up his full discography (including production, writing credits and performing).

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Look for a CD for Ken as well in March 2008 with album of classic rock covers named Cover to Cover:

There is a KMG records re-issue of the first two Shout albums on radrockers.com. It is good if you want only the music (It only gives a brief description of the band without the original artwork). Otherwise, I got my Frontline Records original releases through ebay.

Those KMG re-issues are missing songs aren't they? I almost picked them up til I discovered this. Lame.

I want the original Frontline releases. I realize they are hard to find though. Any chance these Shout albums will be re-released sometime soon?

Blackieboy -

Yes, the double re-issue is missing one song:

Ain't Givin' Up (In Your Face)

The albums are not going to be reissued.

Wow...I've been wanting Ken Tamplin stuff for years and now it's all right there....insane awesomeness. I however, WILL be getting these cd's some time. Every time I search on Ebay for him, there's been nothing there. Well the resurgence of older metal and older metal bands might bring him up on there some more. Smile

The 93 s/t was a GREAT album, but nothing else he has done has thrilled me too much. I do have the double album for Soul Survivor/Axe To Grind, but I don't play it much.

Got rid of my Shout cd's years ago. Wish I had kept them to e-bay them, though.

I agree with extreme prejudice! When I listen to this I can't believe how good it is!

My favorite album he's done is Shout - In Your Face. Such a majestic album that one is.

The 93 s/t has GREAT songs... but the production bugs me... the guitars are so QUIET in the mix... I wish they were more upfront! You can hear the bass much more clearly than the guitars...

But still, yes, great songs, and EXCELLENT vocals!

Every rock album Ken's done, including the Shout records, has been terrific. He's a gifted musician, songwriter and especially singer. He's my favorite singer ever. His sidekick on his solo records, Scott Van Zen, happens to be one of the best guitar players that no one has ever heard of.
