I actually finally got around to giving Evile a listen earlier today. They sound very decent, I'd love to see them open for Megadeth when they hit the UK. They've got my vote.

and why not ? I personally think they are a better band and their two albums are excellent, Most people only know of Evile due to the "new wave of thrash" etc... but of course because a band maybe on a smaller label then they deserve to get cast aside in other people's minds

I do like what I've heard of Panic Cell. Really, either way I'm not fussed who supports - it'll be a good choice with either band. And if I recall correctly, both are playing BOA, so I'll get another opportunity to see them.

Evile got my vote.

Man, they were touring with Diamond Head 3 years ago, and Dave was talking about some kind of tour with Megadeth, Death Angel, Testament, Exodus and Anthrax!

why would panic cell even be mentioned alongside megadeth?

I was hoping for Annihilator. Jeff said he was aiming for a tour with Megadeth.

Annihilator would be fantastic. I was surprised to hear they opened for Iced Earth across Europe - I'd expect it to be the other way around.

Why should it be the other way around ? Annihilator are a spent force and have been as rough as a Badger's Arsehole over the past few albums, That same tripe was trown out when they were announced as support for Trivium, People have to realise that Annihilator are not big crowd pullers anymore.

Yeah, I guess Annihilator's credibility has dipped. But I still always figured they were bigger and more established than Iced Earth.

Personally I don't think any one can say, that nowadays Annihilator are bigger and I loved them up to King of the Kill but since .......... Criteria was a slight return to the past but then out went Randy and all hope faded yet again.

Why would they not?

I've never heard them until this moment (checking their MySpace) and they sound pretty damn killer.

I think I voted for Evile, but the dang website was slower than a US Postal worker so I don't know if it registered.

Mm, I may actually have to pick up their CD as it seems good stuff. They're more than good enough to open for Megadeth, that's for sure.

Locky; yeah, you're right about Annihilator, now that I think about it. Iced Earth have been far more consistent in recent years, that's for sure.

I'm kinda surprised Megadeth is still a headliner. I don't even remember the last album of theirs I liked. Oh yeah it was Youthanasia. To each their own I suppose.
