| What are some of your favorite industrial bands? They can be industrial metal, industrial/ebm, whatever! But they have to be at least 'part' industrial. My faves are: Leaether Strip KMFDM Circle of Dust/Brainchild Klank Front 242 Nine Inch Nails (first album) Frontline Assembly Deitiphobia Mortal Nitzer Ebb Ministry |

| My favorite industrial band was a band called Deliverance. They only came out with one album named Assimilation. Good stuff. |

I like the first Circle of Dust CD quite a bit. Also, the Brainstorm - Mindwarp CD which was Circle of Dust under a different name. Later pressing were released as Circle of Dust - Brainstorm. I prefer the later. This CD was like Industrial Thrash Metal. Great stuff. Also:Argyle Park (their first) Mortal (their first two CDs) Chatterbox _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I liked a lot of it, but not for awhile. The one that stands out is Murder Inc. And didn't Jimmie B. Brown make some kind of techno CD once? I forgot the name but it was pretty funny. | |

| Never really cared for this genre. I like some tunes from NIN and Ministry, but never enough to purchase a full cd. I guess the closest thing to industrial that I own is a few Marilyn Manson cd's, if those count. | |

| I've like some but not much. Some bands of that genre I've liked are (ones I own albums from in red): NIN Mortal Killing Joke (influenced many industrial bands) Ministry Godflesh Deliverance-Assimilation Fear Factory (death metal w/ industrial overtones) Rackets & Drapes Eva O Under Midnight Kekal (black metal w/ industrial overtones) Samael (ditto) | |

yeah, i'd say Marilyn Manson counts as Industrial. i also forgot to mention Stabbing Westward. Good call. Except the last CD, the self-titled. Not industrial at all. "I Remember," however, is possibly my favorite song from them. Love that tune (and, yeah, I know it's gay). |

This thread inspired me to dig out my MORTAL - Lusis CD today. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

This thread inspired me to dig out my MORTAL - Lusis CD today. Ult, "Lusis" is one of my favorite albums!!! About Rackets and Drapes, IMO they are like a cross between goth and industrial. True goth is pretty organic. R&D mix a lot of industrial elements. I'd call them goth/industrial. Just me. |

| Mortal was a'ight I guess. I never went whole hog for the Industrial scene tho. Shotgun Messiah's third album ("VIOLENT NEW BREED") was about as "industrial" as I ever got. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I can't believe I forgot one of my all time favorites: SKINNY PUPPY!!!
:headbang I was just wearing my Skinny Puppy Tshirt the other day. Also a few more: Switchblade Symphony (darkwave/industrial) Ohgr Collide (goth/industrial) Tapping the Vein (more goth, but still) and starting with their 3rd album, Depeche Mode incorporated a lot of industrial stuff in their stuff as well. Though I would not consider them 'industrial', a lot of people do. |
