Thanks to my rich uncle Jack, I got $100 for Christmas and went a spending. My origional intent was to finish getting my 2007 releases. Most weren't there and even though they do special orders, the ones I wanted weren't in the system (Allen/Land-The Revenge [import] and the new Thunderstone) so I got two new ones and expanded my collection of classic metal albums.

If I get some more Christmas money I will definatly get the two that I wasn't able to get today. If not, then I will make my list for the top albums of the year and post them sometime before or after New Year's Day (and I will wait to get the others when they become availiable at a later date or when I kill off my debt-which ever comes first).

I got that album as well. Picked it up at FYE I also saw the Helloween reference. They are from greece. I think the album is ok. Not really so much like helloween though. I had mixed feelings of either getting rid of it on ebay or put it up for trade.

Dang it!!!! The Thunderstone one is also not availiable in the U.S. so in order to get The Revenge and Evolution 4.0, I'm going to have to purchase them as imports (which I would do for The Revenge but not the new Thunderstone). As an alternative I MIGHT get the MP3 versions from Amazon for about $8 and album (at least just to tide me over til they become availiable over here, whenever the hell that'll be).

Helloween it aint, however, there was also a Stratovarius and Rhapsody reference on the sticker as well. While I hear an early Stratovarius sound, it is no more Rhapsody than it is Helloween. I still like it though. Then again I am a power metal buff and I can't recall ever hearing a power metal or speed metal album I didn't like.

HOW ABOUT .... doing a new thread - Collectors Corner - the feedback, where you can talk this and that about your new stuff, and leave this one to the simple, perhaps boring lists of what you've bought, like it used to be? Don't want to be a smurfette here or something, but I just think that this thread has gone way to far with all kinds of long posts, so you can't even see anymore what people are buying ...

I don't understand the big deal. This thread virtually never goes off topic, nor do people talk that much. Ocassionally, maybe. But what's the point of having a thread to just post lists of purchases? What does that serve? This is the only forum that I've even been on that only wants lists posted and no talk.

It's not my forum, however, so do as you guys please.
