Dude, that's a killer album! I've spoken with Robin Vagh on MySpace a few times. I feel bad for the dude. He's $6,000 in debt from the recordings of Into The Future Zone and he's having a hard time finding work. He says he has songs written for a third album, but no money to record it, and he doesn't think there will ever be a third album. That sucks! If I ever win the lottery, there will be a third album. Haha.

By the way, I really want their Sands Of Time album, if anyone has it.

CD Baby no longer has Sands Of Time. That's where I bought the other album from. If you don't remember them, are you interested in trading/selling it?

I was so excited I felt dirty getting those for that price. The checkout kid told me they were having a customer appreciation sale from 7-9 tonight and come back to get them possibly cheaper. I told him I didn't want to risk it. I'd be sick if I came back and by some chance somebody had snatched them up.

There are a couple more I'll go back for tonight now that I think about it.....Guardian - First Watch, King James - S/T, and Saviour Machine - S/T.....

So now I'm hooked....only problem is that Abilene, Tx is rather finite in size and isolated in location so my one day sweep of the pawn shops may have yielded all there is to acquire....

I'd try to hit up my pawn shops locally too, but I have a feeling Ult has probably already ransacked and pillaged them all for good!

Yeah, that was really a sweet score. Don't ever count them out, though. They're always hit or miss, but when they're a hit, it's usually big.

I scored a few sweet CDs tonight from the used bins at Newbury Comics. The holiday season is upon us and people are selling crap for Christmas money, so they're overloaded with used stuff. I picked up Locky his Overkill CD, but what I got was all under $20:

Robinson, Chris - New Earth Mud (CD/DVD)
Elis - Show Me The Way (EP) *
Atkins, Nicole - Bleeding Diamonds (EP)
Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes - Live At The Greek: Excess All Areas (2CD)
Black Tide - Black Tide (EP) *

* Not used, but still cheap.

The best thing I found was the Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes CD. This one was in the Jimmy Page section for $6.99. I thought it was a bootleg because it looked different than the normal version I see out there all the time for $20 used. There's no tracklisting on the back and where it says Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes, the font looks like DOS font. But I figured I'd give it a shot.

I told the clerk I think it might be a bootleg so I opened it right there. Everything looked legit, so I kept it. I just did a little research and Wikipedia lists this copy as the original internet only edition. Pretty sweet score for that price! I can't find any other info about it, though, so I don't know how rare it is. No copies are on eBay or eil.com. Really glad I found it, though.
