Iron Maiden - Izod Center, NJ March 14, 2008

Who's going? I plan to be there

I would love to be there but I'm not sure if I will have $$ for tickets when they go on sale...

Although last time they played in Jersey a reporter friend of mine got me into the show at the last minute... he had interviewed Maiden for his newspaper a few weeks earlier and was on the guest list so he put me down as his "plus one," he sez he may be able to pull that trick again. I'm not pinning all my hopes on it but it would certainly be sweet.

They were $57.50 each + all the tickmaster charges + 73.16 per ticket I hate ticketmaster - was a joke $11.50 "convenience" charge? not very convenient to me

The upper level seats are $37 each

How about playing somewhere between the west and east coasts?

Not me, I live too far away and I'm broke! Man, it sucks working in retail and living so close to Detroit. A whole bunch of amazing acts hit the area, but I never have the money or time off to check'em out.

Do they come here? Even when they played Ozzfest, they skipped the southeast dates. I love this band, and want to see them live. Why
do I have to fly to Cali or Jersey to see them? Last tour the closest
to me they came (I live in Florida) was Chicago. You can't get any closer to the south than Chicago?

Ouch. That's a little rich for my blood right now. I could probably swing the upper level seats if I really wanted to, but since I'm old and my eyesight ain't what it used to be, upper level is not the best place for me to be if I wanna see anything (hahaha).

Guess I'm gonna have to pass on this one, unless my aforementioned reporter buddy can work his magic once again...

i dont knwo how ticketmaster manage to charge so much for tickets they dont do it over here

Ahh - That's good stuff. And I'm always serious about roadtrips to see shows. You can only go to First Ave 500 times before it starts looking too familiar. Besides, Maiden in Mexico? That would be a cool experience!!!

That should read $57.50 + ticketmaster charges = $73.16

They only tend to play where they will sell out in the US. They are only doing 2 shows this leg, more US show in May/June

did they not get thrown off ozzfest though by sharon osbourne in the end

Yes, sharon couldn't - she even hired people to throw eggs at maiden, she would cut maiden;s power during their set, etc

Iron maiden have now announced a uk gig at twickenham stadium with presale on the 29/11. i intend to buy my tickets as soon as they are on sale but the satdium has a fifty thousand capacity so that will be very cool

Got my tickets to Maiden in Oslo Norway July 24.

This will be my third Maiden show. My first was Somewhere on Tour Nov 1986, so this mix of Powerslave an Somewhere will be FANTASTIC!!!!
