Threads deleted?

Sorry to everyone. I should have just banned this guy yesterday when he first presented himself. It was obvious he was just here to stir up trouble. Thanks to Saxon and Trog for taking care of things.

I appreciate the diversity of beliefs, ideas, tastes, etc. we have here. But I also appreciate the fact that people can get along despite their differences.

You have to wonder what drives someone like that. If your social skills are so minimal that all you can do is argue with others (even when you type words on a message board), perhaps a bit o' introspection is in order.

Something tells me this was more an act than anything. This sort of thing is fun to people. They find a forum that is against cruelty to animals, then they start posting crap about hunting for fun, or whatever. Not saying this is a Christian forum, but it's not hard to figure out that a lot of you are Christians.

I notice the "evil" Eyesore avatar is back as well, probably lying in wait to pierce the God-bubble we are all apparently living in.

Thanks for the good work, Sax and Trog. And thanks to everyone for keeping this board so sivil. I'm impressed though. This board have been around for a year, and this is only our second banning so far!

i was curious as to why some of the members here chose to argue with this guy, when clearly he was just trolling. it just adds to the chaos. he didn't care about any points you made, he was just here to start trouble.

For me, I know that the smart thing would be to ignore it, but its a flaw of mine to keep poking at a festering wound. I have sensitive buttons that are easily pushed.

I didn't know of trolls and trolling until it was mentioned here so for me it was simply a case of ignorance. If I had know that he was just trying to get us riled up I would have just ignored him. The sole purpose of my replies was to set the guy straight. So many people cry censorship when it is not neccesary. True censorship (which I am against) is the government telling a person they can't say this or that. I however, have no problem with individual censorship (i.e. you can say whatever you want, just don't expect people to listen to you). Clearly he wasn't listening and now that I know about trolls, I will keep a sharp eye out for them if they arrive here again.

I too was not aware of trolls. Amazing what a little Wikipedia can do.

I knew people can be flaming peckerheads, but I was not aware of the term, nor was I aware that there was such a community of folks that do this on a regular basis.
