| I agree both of these album are great. But I do happen to like Crowbar's Oddfellows Rest a little better than Time Heals Nothing. | |

| I brought Ride the Lightning to work the other day. Hadn't heard it in years, but it sounded GREAT! I guess I grew tired of Metallica and all their silly drama so I wasn't really listening to them. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I remember back in around 95 listening to Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets after not having listened to Metallica in probably 5-7 years. I was pretty blown away. Good stuff, but I always seem to grow tired of it after a certain amount. I did back in the 80's and I still do. But at the right intervals, these albums rule! | |

| Crowbar is one of the scariest bands to see live, ever! That reminds me, I saw them on Halloween night with Impaler, and Prong a couple years ago today! That memory is making me go scurry under my bed right now!!!!! |

Thats kind of why I hadn't re-captured their albums. Had them on tape but never swithched to CDs (after hearing Load for the first time I didn't want to support them by buying ther albums). Over the past 4-5 years I started to miss all the great music of the old Metallica (thanks to some tibute albums I purchased) and have been slowly working my way into their catalog (so far all I have is the Black Album, which was my first, and many individual songs I downloaded off the net). The priority for my next aquisitions are: Master Of Puppets (my favorite), Ride The Lightning, And Justice For All, and Kill 'Em All. I've just been too busy getting other music that I never got around to getting anymore of theirs (a mistake I hope to correct as soon as my tight budget allows). As for Crowbar, I have heard some of their music in the past and although I liked what I heard, I never sought out any of their albums. I may have to check them out though.

Yes, one of the guitarists and drummer are/were in Crowbar. The bass player on the 1st Down album was in Crowbar as well, but now it's Rex from Pantera.

| Even though i stated THN as my fav i recommend all new listeners to Crowbar to start with Odd Fellows Rest. It's probably one of the the heaviest guitar sounds you'll ever hear. | |
