What are some songs on otherwise excellent albums that you dislike? (instrumentals and intros dont count) One that comes to mind is "The Gift of Music" from Theocracy's As the World Bleeds. The rest of the album is a masterpiece, but that song just seems to be an attempt to make a Christian rock version of "I Write the Songs", and the style of the song is just too jarring as opposed to the rest of the album.

Twisted Sister....be cruel to your school.....I hate that song. and also....leader of the pack....then they pushed it on mtv.... Judas Priest....parental guidance.....so damn silly and moronic.... These are songs I'd be totally ashamed to crank in my car..... Gene Simmons solo....when you wish upon a star.....WTF ? AC / DC would never make that kind of absolute blundering mistake. Motley Crue....smoking in the boys room...hated that version..... KISS had a few real stinkers....you wonder if they did it on purpose? WASP....douche bag blues....on the electric circus...as a f'n bonus ? Ya thanks.

I love Tourniquet's "stop the bleeding"....but I never was able to stomach "you get what you pray for".

Judas Priest--"Heavy Duty/Defenders of the Faith" (I consider that one song).

I'm alone with this but 22 Acacia Avenue on Number of the Beast. Always hated that song. Walk away from Heaven and Hell, always seemed like a useless filler to me I still love you from Creatures of the Night...makes me really thankful that skip buttons exist.

"Planet Caravan" keeps Paranoid from being one of the most solid albums ever made, to me. I hated the song when I first got the tape in 8th grade, and no matter how many times I try and get it to click, it still never has. Bores the hell out of me. Sabbath have a few other tracks I don't like spread about their first several albums, like "Changes", but Caravan is the worst.

While most folks would point out the industrial-sounding 'My World' at the end of GnR's Use You Illusion II, I have to go with the song 'Breakdown'. I never liked that song and I still skip it 15 years later.

Odd Fellows Rest from the Crowbar album of the same name. This song not only sucks ass, but started the annoying trend of them including a p*ssy track on every album.

Iron Maiden's work was generally more solemn than Priest's, but can someone suggest a track by them that was pretentious or cheesy?

Satellite 15.....The Final Frontier (8:41) would be my answer to your question as he seemingly interminable kills the song for me.
