| These God metal people may have a mental disorder much as Kobain had depression - look in the DSM IV for 'shared psychotic disorder' - sounds alot like religion -- mass delusion of a god that isn't... |

| T-Roy, G-Boy: Don't get careless with anything sharp in your bubble, God Boy!!! God Metal is part of religion's attempt to diffuse and discredit the heretic messages of heavy metal, God Metal is to steer the young away from freethinking and heresy and back to the mind controlling clutches of DOGMA. |

Ya know, you sound as rediculous as some of those hyper-Jesus metal heads! Music is music, there really is no such thing as Christian metal, or Satanic metal, there's just metal, some of it made by christians is quite good, to deny this is to deny reality.

| There should be a Jehova's Witness thrash metal band - they paint a bleak view of the near future for all unbelievers, except after the first album all their content would repeat ad-nauseum via New York headquarters... |

Just an INTJ "Throwing Down" - don't care if you hate me for it Hate you, I don't even know you?! I just think it's stupid when anyone believes there has to be a certain formula to be metal, the only requirement for membership should be is if you kick ass!

| I speak not of a 'formula', but rather of origins and eventual and pathological degenerative branches from the origin. Perhaps like Muslim country music ... |

| Your whole premise is erronious, that's like this guy once had a station on at work, it was country, I hate country music, he said; "oh no, thats "Gospel Music"! | |

| Not a troll, I have always been agnostic/atheist and running across 'Shared psychotic disorder' in the DSM III immediately made me think of religious believers - I could only think that most psychiatrists, being scientists who are largely atheistic, consider the religious to have shared delusions of the masses. Got benzos- Dictionaries, I have many - have I misused a word? Education, soaking up information for 37 years - can't stop researching, it's a disease. The internet is conveniant for the lazy but replete with misinformation, need to be careful - I prefer textbooks and peer reviewed journals. |

| To state that "Music is music" is to place Samantha Fox on the same level as Bach, which is silly. There is good music with content and crappy stuff without, coupled by the continuum imbetween. |

Since it's not been said, I'll say it: This assclown is a retard. And that's coming from a non-Christian. |

| Many people(including me) were driven to early thrash metal because of religious pressure and drawn to it for it's contempt of rules and religion - singing "God is going to get you if you don't behave" doesn't have "metal spirit" no matter what they sound like. Seems like a ploy - who backs God metal bands? Jimmy Swaggart? |

You're an arrogant and ignorant fool, one that clearly has his head too far up his own mailbox for cocks to grasp the concept of individuality and diversity. Fine, you dislike religion, but suggesting a style of music must be devoid of religion is a damn religion unto itself. You're like the straightedge retards from the 90s that denounced religion, but strictly followed this ridiculous dogmatic formula of what straightedge was (i.e. far more strict than said religions they were rebelling against). The ignorant hypocrite is just a fool smiling with poop on his lips and corn stuck between his teeth.

| You have missed my point as well... Music is art - creative and expressive. When art becomes dogmatic and common, the creative process degenerates, expression yields - art ceases and noncreativity reigns. To hold a Christian viewpoint in face of all lack of evidence - 2000 year old dogma isn't art - pulp entertainment is a better phrase... Oh, and oh yeah- "You all follow GWAR to hell!" |

| Believe it or not, some people like to be Christians and don't want to be spared of their fate by evidence. Some people like christian metal. If you don't, then I say don't listen to it. I like living in a bubble. Its comfortable. It keeps all the hot air in the room off my face. I still believe in the Easter Bunny. Prove he doesn't exist. I don't like mayonnaise. But when my wife and I are out at a restaurant I don't interrupt fellow patrons that have home training and spew the evils of mayo, because I read in peer journals that said disgusting condiment is high in cholesterol. Some folks just want to find out for themselves. I say sell the snake oil somewhere else. |

| I still gotta think that 'Christian thrash metal' is a phrase that makes as much sense as 'Michael Jackson is black'... Everyone is free to believe what they want, but I say:
"I believe in nothing, least of all in the word of shit" -Exodus |
