Busiest Vocalist In Metal

NOTE: You can choose more than one selection as opposed to an all of the above choice.

Many musicians have a main band, solo project, and guest appear on many albums. However there are three vocalists that seem to show up everywhere in the metal realm. I believe these guys are the busiest vocalists in metal. Question is who do you think is the busiest? Jorn Lande does the vocals of many different projects, least of all his own. Lance King does vocals for a plethora of bands and runs his own record company (Nightmare). Then there is Christian Rivel, who besides being the vocalist of Narnia lends his voice to many other projects as well and also has his own record company (Rivel). In my opinion I think Lance King is the busiest. With his record company and the fact that he has done lead vocals of ten different bands proves him to be the hardest working vocalist in metal IMO. In case there are other vocalists that pop up in more places I have added a "other" choice.

I voted for Jorn Lande, but both Chritian and Lance would be just as good picks.

Another busy singer would be Michael Kiske. He claims to loath metal, but seems to end up sining on every "metal opera" out there.

Dude... Bruce Dickinson should be in that poll.

He records with Iron Maiden, his solo project, tours for Maiden, appears on tributes and soundtracks, flys for an airline, is a fencer has a TV and a radio program and has kids.

Hes a rather busy vocalist!

I heard that Bruce is also writing the script of the film "Chemical Wedding" which will be directed by Julian Doyle ("The Life of Brian"). The film shall be out during the next year.

Mike Vescera sure has been in a lot of bands over the years.

Rob Rock seems to be pretty busy as well. But I'm not voting on this one as I'm not familiar with any of the guys in question.

Voted for Nils Patrik Johansson.
He is vocalist in three great Metal bands: Astral Doors, Wuthering Heights
and Lion`s Share, all his bands are active touring and they all give out albums quite often. Busy man!!

I mean busiest in the music business, many other people would qualify if you included jobs, hobbies, and family.

my vote goes to lemmy. 18 studio albums since 1977 and still going strong plus side stuff like probot, girlschool stuff etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

Dio!! For as long as he has been around and the number of albums he has sung on - and hopefully will sing on again in 2008 - he gets my vote!
