Well, apparently hell has frozen over!
Crimson Glory, featuring original members Ben Jackson (guitar), Dana Burnell (drums) and Jeff Lords (bass) plus new recruits Travis Willis (vox) and Mark Borgmeyer (guitar) will return in 2024.
A new single, "Triskaideka," will hit YouTube in January. Till then, a 90 second "teaser" of new stuff can be heard here:

I'm looking forward to hearing what they've come up with. Looks like they're also going to be playing the Keep It True festival overseas.

Here's a clip of the new singer with his previous band, "Infidel Rising"... pretty good song. Got kind of a Zak Stevens era Savatage thing going on.

Guitarist Jon Drenning, who isn't taking part in this Crimson go-round due to family commitments, has given his bandmates his blessing to continue.
Quote :
"I wish Ben, Dana and Jeff all the best. I would have loved to be a part of this new chapter, but my priorities are not in sync with the band at this juncture. Indeed, being a father has shaped my priorities in ways I could never imagine. Mark Borgemeyer is a good friend and I can't think of a better candidate to fill my shoes. I share the same enthusiasm as the fans, and there may be another surprise for them around the corner…stay tuned."

Was this the band that Todd LeTorre was in?

Yup. He did a bunch of shows with them but left when work on a new album stalled out. They only managed to release one new song with him ("Garden of Shadows").
Obviously, things worked out rather well for Todd in the long run.

The new singer sounds good. It's going to be interesting to hear how he handles the classic material.

CG's first full new track,"Triskaideka," hit YouTube today.
The lyrics are a little klutzy, but I dig the overall vibe.
