I guess I’ll be the lone vote (so far!) for Testament. I love both bands, two of my favorites. But I’ve just gotta give a very slight edge to Testament. That being said, The Years of Decay might be my favorite album between the two.

Man screw these threads, y'all trying to break my brain! I'd probably have to go Overkill, but damn, that's a hard choice. I think Testament has a slight edge in the vocal department, but musically Overkill wins by a hair.

Testament is one of my favourite bands.

But before answering, I will go through the Overkill Atlantic Years box set I ordered. I am not that familiar with their early material. I own a few of their later albums only, and have only heard I believe two from the set of six in the box. And don't even remember those that well.
