I’ve gotta go with Believer on this one, but Mental Vortex is also great. (Including the Beatles cover).

I had this album as a new release in 1991. Always loved it! Great unusual jazz chords from Tommy Baron. I didn’t even get Sanity Obscure until way later… but I like it too.

The Coroner album cover is Anthony Perkins / “Norman Bates” from Psycho.

Both albums are excellent! Too bad the artwork isn’t eye popping dungeons and dragons shit… If it ain’t like a comic book, it sucks!

I'll give Coroner the slight edge. Their sound is just such an amalgamation of styles that I can't help but be impressed. I'm in no way knocking Believer, but Coroner just hits for me SLIGHTLY better.
