Like all the videos you post, I gave that track a shot figuring that based on the name I'd hate it. I actually kind of like that song. I'm not quite sure about the switch of vocalists between the verses and chorus (I like the guy on the verses and the woman on the chorus sounds a little weak) but it's an interesting sound. And it has a memorable melody which is always important in my book.
The video is cheesy as hell and reminds me of Manowar but I just stopped watching and listened to the music. I like it. Need to investigate this band.
Oh yeah, their videos are wicked cheesy. I watched a bunch of their videos when their first album came out and really enjoyed them but never bought the album. When I stumbled across this one the other day, I still really dug the tunes, so I ordered both.
Usually I'm not so impressed with the whole viking metal thing, though I do enjoy a number of those bands. These guys are far more memorable than most and downplay the goofiness that seems to be inherent in a lot of the bands in that "genre."
I have their first album but i have not listened to it in forever. Ill have to listen to it again...

So did you spin that one again? I've been told it's actually better than Emblas Saga. I played the second album last week on my beer run across the river and I have to admit it started out great but 2/3 of the way through it I got tired of it, probably just because that style just isn't my thing anymore which is why I was surprised I enjoyed the band in the first place.

Just ordered these. Gotta have a spare Sacrament while they are available. And I’ve been wanting a remastered s/t Mortification for a long time! The other two are just impulse buys (with a good price). Enough time has passed that I appreciate the River Disturbance album. “As Above - So Below” is just great! The best thing Deliverance put out since Stay of Execution.

I was so confused about this release. On Bandcamp, it said I already owned it, which was odd. But I do. Sort of. It's just demo anthology Stormspell put out with three more demos tagged onto it.
