Subject: New AC/DC album -- "Power Up" Wed Sep 30, 2020 8:24 am
AC/DC has been posting little teaser images on their various social media pages over the past few days, which seem to indicate a new album is on the way.
There's been no official announcement on a release date yet, but judging by this pic which went up today, the album title may be "Power Up" (stylized as "PWR UP").
A lot of peeps didnt seem to care for Rock Or Bust, but I enjoyed it (of course, I'm an AC/DC fanboy)...so I say "bring it on."

If they found "more" Bon Scott stuff to pilfer/plunder, I'd be in.
I thought "RnRTrain" was a very cool tune though

Eh, I'm sure I'll pick this up somewhere down the line eventually, even though I still haven't gotten around to picking up Rock Or Bust.

I thought Cliff retired. And Brian was finished. Cool that Phil is with them still.

I like Rock or Bust a lot and I'm definitely looking forward to this. I'm so glad things have worked out for Brian. Axl did a fine job filling in on vocals for the live shows, but it would just be strange to have a new AC/DC vocalist introduced on a studio album so late in their career.

I will check it out but I cannot tell you the last time I listened to something AC/DC that was not Back in Back or Highway to Hell

Not long ago, Chris Slade claimed he was still the drummer (to his knowledge). I guess this settles that... LOL

New teaser clip hit YouTube this morning. This is apparently a snippet of the first single, "Shot In The Dark."
Best thing about it: No trace of Axl Rose!

No auto-tune or guest rappers on this album, I'm sure.

With Bon Scott's clever and personality laden vocal delivery? Oh wait

I am definitely in. Happy that, in 2020, AC/DC are still around, releasing new material.

It sounds great! Anyone know if some of the guitars are leftover recordings of Malcolm?

Dunno if any actual recordings of Malcolm will be in there but apparently the songs were constructed from a stash of Malcolm's unused riffs and demo tracks...

It sounded from previous hype (including a vague interview Dee Snider did after having dinner with Bryan Johnson) that Malcolm would actually be featured on the album in the form of past recordings. However, from the recent interview with their producer it sounds like its more in spirit, in the form of ideas that he had worked out with Angus. In any case, I'm all in and very excited for this release!
