Chicago the band or a comp of Chicago bands?
Either way I'm interested. Chicago the band is one I've grown to appreciate over the years and Chicago the city is home to a ton of sleaze bands I like.

Chicago the band. All it has as a title is collector's edition. It has three discs and it came in a metal container with the band logo embossed on the front. It was only $11.00 so I took a chance on it. I like some of their stuff, but to me they are hit and miss.

(Limited to 40)
Weird Wargasm release. Apparently their final album was supposed to be called What Are You Afraid Of? The label changed the album name to Suicide Notes, changed the album art, and rearranged the track order. Since the album was never released in the US, and they haven't been able to secure a reissue, they released a What Are You Afraid Of? kit...
"This kit contains CD packaging reflecting the band's original vision: The original title and cover art are restored, and track listing has been corrected to reflect the original master's running order. The packaging also features a handful of rare, unseen photos, and the final installment of Bob Mayo's liner notes, which completes the story of the band.
A blank CD-R is also included, pre-printed with the album's title and the Wargasm logo; fans can burn the tracks from the 1995 release onto the disc. Or, your 1995 disc has finally found its rightful home. Help us reclaim our album and create the ONLY totally legitimate, 100% 'Official', band-approved version of Wargasm's fourth and final album: What Are You Afraid Of?"
So yeah, a weird one. But they're selling it for $1.
I paid $5 because $1 just seemed wrong. Not that $5 is much better. Haha.

I've been digesting my download of Ginger's "Headzapoppin" album today.
The copy I downloaded includes this cover of what is apparently a Dean Martin cover of a country song and as usual Ginger does a great cover (this must be a bonus track because it's not on any of the reviews of the albums that I can find):

As I mentioned in another thread, the local music/book store was having a post-virus grand re-opening/sidewalk sale today. Fifty cent CDs? Don't mind if ah do!
Dunno yet how many of these will be keepers and how many may end up on my trade pile, but I gotta say it was pretty damn satisfying to walk away with a heap this big for about seven bucks:
Starz - Live In Action Styx - Brave New World and Cyclorama Whitesnake - Slip of the Tongue Various - Best of '80s Metal Volume One: Bang Your Head The Rolling Stones - Hot Rocks 1964-1971 (2 CDs in fat-boy case) Cheap Trick - Busted Paradise Lost- One Second Firehouse - 3 Queensryche - Q2K Ozzy Osbourne - Ozzmosis Boston - Walk On Aerosmith - Get A Grip Soul Asylum - ...And The Horse They Rode in On
...plus, I got an old issue of the hair-metal magazine "Faces Rocks" from 1988 with stories on Kiss, Barren Cross (!) and the breakup of Dokken!
Now if you'll excuse me, ah gots me some major listenin' to do...
