While I was working today I listened to the Jethro Tull comp I created.

This really is an amazing band to me; when you put their catalog together and put it on "random" you realize how all over the place the band is. And I didn't even include Ian Anderson's solo output in this comp; that would make it even more all over the genre map.

I've never even been sure what that is supposed to be. It sort of looks like a white sea lion head on a human body but the body has very little definition so it also looks like a sea lion head on some kind of stone. And regardless, what the F does that have to do with the album title, the band or any damn song on the album????

And a damn fine album that is too; a constant spinner during my college years. It's such a shame it's forever cursed with one of the worst (and most puzzling) album covers in music history.

(Although I do know of one that is worse and anyone who has ever read through a thread of "worst album covers" knows which one I'm referring to.)
