I put it on for background noise while I worked from home today. After a while I said to myself, "shouldn't this have ended, like three songs ago?" Then I said "screw this, I'm puttin' on some Overkill."

I've tried, I've realllly tried, but it's a dud.

For what it's worth, I never got into JP's Nostradamus either.

One of these days, I am gonna make my own comp of my faves off that album and jut listen to death when I wanna hear it, If I were better with technology I would cut out all the interludes and ambient noise stuff between songs and have that to listen to. But I am not.

It seems even back then they couldn't figure out what their sound should be and the Walking On Coals album proved that when they went in a different direction.  I actually ended up liking the second album more than the first one.  But I prefer Joe LeSte's first Beautiful Creatures album to either of those Bang Tango ones but then that band too "tweaked" their sound on their second release and broke up after that which leads me to conclude that LeSte is the main reason his bands seem so inconsistent.  At least to me.

I agree, they seemed to be searching for a direction, I think this is the case were the band needed a stronger producer to help them get a handle on their direction.
